The Sound of Silence
Silence is so loud. When the furniture are stretching out. when i hear frogs & crickets wandering about. As i lie in bed @ night. Staring @ the black and white
Silence is louder. When actions speak more than words. as when language is through the body not mouth. When arguments neglected because there’s no need for sound. Just by one look we know. a certain touch can show. actions accompanied by messages from within. Revealed by movements and so not hiding true intentions unlike when we mention verbally - that its easier to choose words to use. And the either wanted or unwanted truth is covered with a veil. Silence is loud. Say now ‘Let silence prevail’ when a story’s a story through a tale never told. All these meanings inside your head create something that never seemed to be necessary to be spoken of. oh the power of meeting someone’s eyes can be so strong. at times keeping the same body language for so long when not one dares to speak. or if one does so, its not quite similar to when their eyes cheat or steal. Or send some thought never to be made clear.
Silence is so damn loud. Sometimes, there’s not a need for sound. Senses can be so profound. The sound of silence has a heartbeat.
now, tell me what you hear when silence speaks.
